About Us

Hydratech Industries is a global company comprised of three strong divisions, each strong global players within their respective industries.

Our Wind Power division, located in Silkeborg, is a leading global supplier of hydraulic components for the wind turbine industry.

Our Fluid Power division is located in Vraa, and a leading supplier of high-end customized hydraulic cylinders to Offshore-, Marine-, and Industrial applications.

With manufacturing facilities in Denmark, Czech Republic and China, and with our Service & Repair division with facilities in Denmark, China and USA we are able to offer full global service to our global customers.

Between the three divisions Hydratech Industries today is a truly global company employing some 400 dedicated people at its different manufacturing, sales and service locations worldwide.

2010

HYDRA tech has always sought to strenghten its core competencies and in 2010 we acquired CRC Manufacturing in Alabama, USA, a company with a strong position within industrial hydraulic cylinders.

2003

In 2003 HYDRA tech established production in Suzhou, China in order to meet the demand for larger batches from the Asian markets.

1989

In 1989 HYDRA Tech expanded into offshore and marine and is today a leading global supplier to both industries.

1975

Hydratech Industries Fluid Power began as Nordhydraulic A/S in 1975 in Frederikshavn as a subsidiary of a Swedish company. In 1993 the majority of shares were taken over by the company’s production manager Bent Soerensen, who changed the name to HYDRA Tech and moved the company to Vraa. Hydratech Industries Fluid Power has always produced hydraulic cylinders. For many years our primary markets were within truck cranes, forestry machines, construction machinery and agricultural machinery

2009

AVN Energy established a subsidiary in Suzhou, China.

2008

AVN Hydraulik was divided into AVN Hydraulik and AVN Energy.

2005

AVN Hydraulik established a subsidiary in Bengaluru, India.

1999

AVN Hydraulik (later AVN Energy) has delivered more than 50.000 power packs since the beginning.

1991

The AVN Group buys a Danish company within the wind turbine industry.

1978

AVN Hydraulik was founded.
